The Project has supported the development of a modern information system for the Office and the Council understanding the necessity of IT enhancement and connections among the judicial institutions, i.e. automation of their business processes, more efficient and effective collection, processing and exchange of data to meet the needs of the Council's work.
Through the workshops held by IT experts with each organizational unit, the Office staff have directly participated in designing the future information system for the Council in order to ensure the system's response to individual, specific requests of the Office and the Council by adjusting the future IT solutions (''tailor-made'' approach). The system is going to be unified, modern and technically demanding, but also technically powerful to enable the automation of all internal business processes in the Office and the Council, time-saving for the staff, greater reliability and rate of data collecting and processing, reduction of potential for errors in data processing, on a user-friendly platform. The Ministry of Justice also supported this activity by engaging additional resources for development of additional functions of the information system, to be used by other beneficiaries in the judiciary – the Ministry of Justice and courts, in particular the functions necessary for financial procedures related to budgetary funds. The Protocol on Cooperation will be signed between the Council and the Ministry of Justice for this field of cooperation.
The system is expected to be commissioned in June 2020.
